About Texton

Texton is a wholesale fabricator and distributor of quality custom window products since 1961.

For more than thirty years, we at Texton have been committed to providing quality window coverings to customers both in Texas and throughout the Southwest. These products are designed for use in commercial and residential projects.

Our customers are primarily store front retailers, designers and interior contractors. They are all backed by our professional staff of inside customer support specialists and outside sales representatives.

Texton is the outgrowth of a small retail shade shop that was founded in Dallas by Eddie Williams in 1941. Texton Distributing Company was formed in 1961 as the wholesale manufacturing arm. In 1992, Texton changed it's course of operations with the pursuit of it's current "total quality management" program. This commitment to excellence in all areas of our company on both our business and that of our customers. We recently completed a 30,000 sq. ft. plant expansion.

Kensington Window Expressions TMIn the Spring of 2001, Texton entered into a major contract to manufacture and distribute the new Kensington Window Expressions™ brand of window covering products. This new agreement is a complementary offering adding significant opportunities for Texton and Texton dealers.

Deanna Bryan
Deanna Bryan
Customer Service Manager

Deanna has been a part of the window covering industry since graduating from Stephen F. Austin University in 1977 where her main focus was interior design. Her work experience prior to joining Texton includes Sears and Avondale, where she provided in home decorating services, had her first experiences with the manufacturing of blinds, and gained knowledge of the many window covering product offerings.

Deanna began her work for Texton as an outside sales representative. In August 1990 Deanna switched to inside sales. Deanna thrives on the challenges of sales and customer service each day at Texton. She loves being a part of the interaction with customers and providing the service necessary to meet the needs of Texton's dealers.

Angela Gill
Angela Gill
Customer Service

Angela Gill moved to Texas from Northern Virginia in 1999. She has an extensive employment background that has stemmed from her education and degree in Business Management. Her vast skills in Customer Service have come from 12 years at the Tandy Corp., 6 years of human resource experience, and 6 years of retail management. Her education has also lent her the opportunities of being Novell Network Engineer & a MCSE, Education Coordinator for a computer IT company, and Government Contract Writer for The Department of Justice U.S. Attorney’s Office and The U.S. House of Representatives.

Between all of this experience and the time she spends at the Women’s Shelter and with Elder Care Programs, she has a smile and friendly attitude that always leaves the customers with a memorable experience. Angie knows just about everything there is to know about window coverings and if she doesn’t, just give her 5 minutes and she’ll find out. Her co-workers call her the Fact–Totem of Customer Service!

Victor Castillo

Victor has a long history with Texton. He began his career in 1993 working in production. But management quickly discovered what a valuable resource they had in Victor. He is technical and nice to work with all in one package. So when a position became available in the installation department, Victor saw this as his opportunity to move up in the company.

Victor has been installing window coverings for Texton for 4 years. Customers love him because he is always polite and respectful of their homes and possessions. His strong point is his customer service professionalism. He enjoys demonstrating to customers how their window treatments operate and will go out of his way to ensure the homeowner is 100% satisfied with their investment in window coverings. They are so satisfied that many repeat customers request Victor for their installations and are even willing to work around his schedule.

Marleine Vasile
Marleine Vasile
Shutter Advisor & Customer Support

Marleine Vasile earned her BA degree in Durban , South Africa . After coming to America , her career in customer satisfaction began by working as the Marketing Director for a fortune 500 company. She compiled many marketing awards including National Marketing Director. Working with customers in the window covering industry came easily to Marleine as she thoroughly enjoys building relationships with people. In the past nine years, she has held the position of Customer Service Manager, Sales Manager, and ultimately, Director of Sales for a national window covering company. Marleine has had much hands on experience with all types of window coverings, but loves Plantation Shutters the most. Measuring questions? Installation questions? Difficult windows? She would love to help.

Steve Curtis

Designer Division Sales

Steve Curtis completed his education at Oklahoma State University with a degree in Interior Design. With his educational background and hands-on approach to customer service, Steve has been successfully assisting Interior Designers’ with their window covering needs since 1987. Steve began his career with Texton in 1991 and has been complementing Texton’s commitment to ongoing customer service ever since. His ability to meet and exceed the customers’ needs ensures a quality experience from start to finish. Steve believes loyal customers begin with excellent products, knowledge, and going above and beyond expectations. Many of his repeat customers since 1987, have appreciated this!

Deanna Bryan

Alan Williams
Outside Sales - Dallas & East Texas

Alan Williams possesses a lot of the same qualities that his father, and Texton’s founder, Eddie Williams displayed on a daily basis. He loves people and although he is the company’s vice-president, he still prefers to be out in the field instead of sitting behind a desk. Ask anyone in the office and they will tell you about Alan’s positive attitude, great sense of humor and love for karaoke! He grew up in the business and his only absence from it was a tour in the Air Force and his time spent in college. He has a world of first hand knowledge when it comes to window covering information, which he uses to assist his customers. Alan is currently Texton’s Sales Representative for parts of Dallas, East Texas, and Western Louisiana.

Joe Cerda
Joe Cerda
Outside Sales - Dallas & West Texas

Joe Cerda started with Texton in 1992 as a headrail cutter for the mini-blind dept. This was just the beginning! After that, he explored every single department learning the ins-and-outs of every product, eventually leading up to motorized shadings. All this knowledge was later applied when he became Customer Service Manager for the next 5 years. While talking to customers and assisting them with every question and idea, this position proved to really be his niche. He quickly realized though, that he wanted to help customers more on a one on one basis. So he then made it his goal to become a Sales Representative. He has now been servicing the West Texas area for the last 4 years. After being with Texton for a total of 12 years, he says he enjoys everyday of it and he looks forward to the exciting new challenges to come.

Stu Fraker
Outside Sales - Austin, Houston, San Antonio, & South Texas

Stu Fraker is Texton’s Sales Rep for the South Texas Region. Stu brings 35 years of sales and marketing experience in the window covering and home furnishings industries to the job. Formerly, as Product Manager and Managing Director of Conso Coporation, Union, South Carolina, his responsibilities involved design development, and marketing of workroom supply and no-sew hardware for distributors, designers, retailers, and workrooms.

Stu’s experience also includes ownership and operation of two successful interior decorating stores, managing over 400 designers and 15 large workrooms, window products seminar presentations, quest appearances on several nationally and regionally televised home shows, and other industry related responsibilities. His extensive knowledge of the window products business has proved to be very productive and helpful to Texton and to our many dealer friends in the South Texas Region.
