Bill Williams

1933-2021

Bill Williams went home to be with his Heavenly Father in the early morning of June 29, 2021. He was born on April 19, 1933 by his Texan family that was briefly located in Pittsburg, PA, and quickly moved back to his beloved Texas. His family has been held close by his love, and his special relationship with Jesus Christ, with whom he met at an early age. Bill was a proud graduate of SMU and went on to become the founder of TEXTON, a wholesale manufacturer of custom window coverings. He spent every bit of his professional life dedicated to that pursuit, and grew the company to enormous proportions over his lifetime. Dad loved his employees and created a strong bond with his business associates. Loving Dad, Loving Husband, Dad was an avid golfer, He loved spending time with his family. Bill Williams was preceded in death by his mother, Esther P. Williams, his father Eddie Williams, and his first wife, Bonnie Williams. He is survived by Joretta Williams, his loving wife of 44 years, his brother, Alan Williams, Suzanne Tischler (daughter), Pam Rogers (daughter), Ed Williams (son), Debbie Sutton (daughter), and Bishop Ray Sutton (son). In addition, he enjoyed countless grandchildren and great-grand-children.
