Avalon Sheer Shades are an innovative fusion of designer fabric and blinds, of high rise sophistication and provincial estate elegance. The warm intimacy and seamless view-through presented by Avalon Sheer Shades, or the preferred Motorized Sheer, is unprecedented in architecture. The signature “Sheer Aesthetic” is created by horizontal fabric louvers or “vanes” back-lit between sheer panels, resulting in the appearance of vanes dramatically suspended in streaming light. Tilting the vanes from partially open to closed positions achieves a full spectrum of luxurious glow, room darkening, and privacy.

Shade Operation
Vane Opening
Vane opening is the amount of unobstructed visibility between fully open vanes when looking through the shading at eye level. Vane opening for Shades is 1″ to 1-1/2″ depending on vane size and opacity.
Vane Closure
When the vanes of a sheer shading are closed, they overlap each other, blocking the view. However, the vanes do not contact each other along the full length of the shading – they do not form a perfect seal against light leakage. This is most visible toward the bottom of the shading.

AMP Motorzation
Motorized Avalon Sheer Shades use Turnils’ AMP motorization to allow for fine-tuned adjustments of the sheer shades. AMP motorization is compatible with the Bond Bridge Pro, connecting you to the rest of TEXTON’s motorization systems.
